Established by Edgar Meyer and passed on to his  son, Stephen Meyer, Masterbilt was the producer of premium laminated shelving board for over 4 decades, servicing the South African market with export ready product.

Since 1966 the solid laminated knotty pine boards of various widths and lengths were marketed under the brand off MASTERBORD.  The sawmill was established in 1980 to produce raw material and significantly extended and renovated in 2012.
